About Me
- Wife/Mommy/Me?
- Life definitely changes once you become a wife and mommy. My goal is to become the best Christian, wife, mommy and "me" that I can be with a lot of guidance from God. I've lived thru the character building years already and now I'm ready to put all that character to use. I don't feel like I've missed a thing and am confident that I made the right choice to marry later in life and start a family with the nicest man on the planet. I married the sixth "Mike" of my life. I knew it was supposed to be a Mike, but boy did I misread all the signals. I'm on a new journey to find out what I'm really made of and thought writing it all down would definitely help me make sense of it all. Recently, I've just turned my job search over to God and am actually a nanny for a 1 year old, 2 year old and another on the way....whew:) I'm trying to really simplify and serve, how am I doing?

My husband and my daughter and I went to a great fireworks show last night. They had all kinds of great stuff for the kids to do and my daughter made lots of instant friends. It was very cool to see her in an obstacle course.
I bought a whole bunch of new art supplies and we've spent a lot of time the past few days painting together and decorating the new craft box with stickers....good quality family time:)
Now it's time to get organized with all of the 1000s of fabulous toys we have. I'm having some coffee now and that is the goal for the night. I've bought some new storage boxes to help us out. My family room is about to be covered in wall to wall toys...whoo hoo. Wow how Friday nights have changed, haha!
Primary focus: identifying ABCs (having a little trouble with the lower case letters) We played alphabet bingo for the first time today. 7/31/09
Bought a toy foam clock to start teaching time....she hung it up in her play kitchen.
